Due to road construction in Pittsfield the August 2009 third Thursday criterium has been canceled.
The criterium will return in 2010. Volunteers will still be needed so save the date August 19, 2010.
A criterium is a bike race in which the racers follow a closed course for many laps.
This is a race for professional bicyclists and very highly skilled amateurs.
